Blogs have been synonymous with words like “Freedom” and looked as Anti-Orwellian mediums to get messages across. However as some of the articles we read show this is not the case. Most things on the internet now are backed financially by one corporation or the other. It would be hard to not believe that the six companies that own 90 percent of the media in the world (Viacom, General Electric, NewsCorp, Disney, Time Warner, and CBS) would not have a stake in the world’s biggest platform, the internet.
