In the world that we live in today, media is taking over. As society and the world changes, so does media. We get a lot of our information like news, videos or important things from mainly social media sites like Facebook and Instagram.
The articles talk about how media changes the way we view other people based on culture or even their appearance. We get to understand how other people live or why they do the things that they do. There is also this thing of “cultural appropriation” where people copy others either look, speech or something that is not their own. That is happening a lot now with the white girla wearing cornrows, braids or even the faux dreads. It also helps us to relate to people more once we understand where they come from.
I feel as if as long as the world changes so will media. All types of media will be there to capture the next best thing and they want to be the first ones to put it out there. Every day there will be new trends up or different news for us to follow. Media will always be around until the day everyone does or until there is no more Planet Earth.
